Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Conflict will make its highly anticipated televised premiere in Japan on Oct. 5, 2024. However, some anime fans will have the opportunity to watch Part 3 of Bleach: TYBW much sooner than its fall premiere, and on the big screen at that.
The official Japanese Bleach account on X (formerly Twitter) recently announced a public screening for the Thousand-Year Blood War - The Conflict arc on Sept. 16, 2024, at Yamano Hall in Tokyo, Japan. While an earlier event for these new episodes was limited to fan club members, this event at Yamano Hall will be accessible to the general public, during which Episode 27 and Episode 28 of Bleach: TYBW will be live-streamed in theaters across the country.

In addition to an early screening of Bleach: TYBW Part 3, the Japanese voice cast will also be present for a talk show event. Masakazu Morita (Ichigo Kurosaki), Noriaki Sugiyama (Uryu Ishida), and Yuki Ono (Bazz-B) will attend the event with Neki Matsuzawa acting as the host. Tickets for the pre-order lottery are currently being sold for 3,000 yen (US$20.43). Visitors who attend the event will also receive a gift. Only four tickets per person will be issued. The new, upcoming season of Bleach: TYBW will feature anime-original scenes for its continued adaptation of the final manga storyline.
Tite Kubo, the author and illustrator of Bleach, will continue his heavy involvement with the latest anime series. However, Bleach series director Tomohisa Taguchi now serves as chief series director for Part 3. Hikaru Murata will take Taguchi’s place as series director, previously acting as episode director for Bleach: TYBW and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series. Animation improvements like increased use of CGI and "epic" visuals were promised in July by the anime’s newly restructured staff. "So, I'm hoping the fans can look forward to seeing the improved quality of the animation," series producer Yoshihiro Tominaga said. "We're working hard to go beyond the quality of the original manga to animate their scenes."
