Who to side with Ryujin questline? ›

We recommend keeping Imogene alive, especially if you're doing an ethical run (she is innocent after all), as it will decide who will grant you access to the Ryujin Industries mission board.

The rewards obtained from completing the Ryujin Industries are excellent for players running a stealth or persuasion build. Players won't receive a massive spaceship, but they do get two valuable items for stealth players. The operative suit is given to players and provides a 25% sneak bonus.

The questline continues without interruption. If you decide to spare Imogene, she remains in Starfield as an NPC, and you can bring her back to Ryujin. But it won't happen until after the final quest, Executive Level, is complete. If you spare her and prove her innocence, she returns once everything is over.

Exit Ryujin Tower

Jump up into the open hatch in the ceiling in the corner of Ularu Chen's office. This will lead you back out to the roof in Neon. Rather than navigate your way back down to the ground, you can fast travel back to your ship and re-enter Neon.

Protect Imogene: By exposing Ularu as the mole and telling Dalton the truth, things will go back to the way they were and Imogene will be safe, so this is arguably the best outcome.

Acquiring Infinity LTD in this mission is considered to be the right choice since your companions will approve of this choice. However, in case you decide not to acquire Infinity LTD, it will not have any significant negative impact on your rewards or your gameplay.

Players should note that Imogene is telling the truth and is not the mole. Therefore, killing her would mean aligning with Ularu, the true traitor.

Confronting Ularu

If you want the best possible outcome for Ryujin, you need to confront Ularu Chen back in the Ryujin Tower. By choosing to Lie to her, she will eventually reveal that she is the true traitor. You'll also be asked to choose a side between her and Masako.
