There are two places in Pacific City where you can access the beach and drive on the beach: on the south side,across the bridge at the end of Pacific City Ave., and on the north side of Pacific City,next to Pelican Pub off of Hungry Harbor Road. Note: Respect the signs and only drive where you are permitted. Drive slooooow and watch out forpeople and the tide. Pleease don't take your family sedan out on the beach. We have seen many cars and trucks gettingstuck and destroyed by the ocean. A weekend when no one gets towed away from the closing-in waves is a rarity.
